This Privacy Policy explains how the words for me app ("words for me", "we", "us") handles your information. We built words for me to be private by design: it works without an account, and the content you keep stays on your device.
words for me does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any personal identity information to use the app.
What you keep in the app, such as your favorite verses and prayers, your followed topics, your reminder preferences, and your chosen background, is stored locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store this content on our servers.
If you enable reminders, they are scheduled and delivered locally by your device. We do not send you push notifications from a server and we do not track whether you open them.
Subscriptions are processed by the App Store. Your payment information is handled by Apple and is never shared with us. To manage subscriptions we use a subscription management provider (RevenueCat), which receives anonymous purchase and subscription information to keep your access working. It does not receive your name or payment details.
words for me does not include advertising and does not sell your data. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand general app usage, without identifying you personally.
words for me is rated 4+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your content is stored locally, you can remove it at any time by deleting it inside the app or by uninstalling words for me from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
